　　谓语是be（was/were）的一般过去时。

　　①肯定形式：主语+was/were+表语（形容词、名词充当表语）。

　　I was hungry just now.

　　They were  doctors last year.

　　②否定形式：主语+wasn't/weren't+表语（形容词、名词充当表语）。

　　I wasn't hungry  just now.

　　They weren't doctors last year.

　　③一般疑问句形式：Was/Were+主语+表语（形容词、名词充当表语）?

　　肯定回答：Yes,主语+was/were.

　　否定回答：No, 主语+ wasn't/weren't.

　　—Were you hungry?

　　—Yes，I was. /No,I wasn't.

　　—Were they  doctors last year?

　　—Yes, they were./No, they weren,t.

　　④特殊疑问句形式：特殊疑问词+was/were开头的一般疑问句?

　　—Where was he yesterday?

　　—He was in the office.
