　　tell (told, told) 告诉；讲述；命令；吩咐

　　tell sb sth / tell sth to sb:

　　Tell me the address, please. / Tell the address to me, please.

　　请把地址告诉我。

　　tell sb about sth:

　　He never told his parents about his headaches.

　　他从未跟父母谈起过他头痛。

　　tell sb to do sth:

　　My parents often tell me to behave well.

　　我父母经常嘱咐我要守规矩。

　　tell sb + wh- to do sth:

　　They don’t like to be told what to do!

　　他们不喜欢被命令该做什么！
